When transitioning from a paper logbook, start by setting your cumulative totals as your baseline. Then continue by logging all new flights from that point onward. Mobile App: Tap your profile picture (top left) and scroll down to the Opening Totals tab.
Web App: From the left-side menu, select Import, then choose Opening Totals from the options screen.
