Getting Started with the Free Trial
Every new account includes a free trial, giving you the opportunity to explore FLYLOG.io and evaluate how it fits your needs before purchasing a subscription.
No credit card is required to start your trial. The trial remains active until you reach the trial usage limits or for up to 12 months from the date your account was created, whichever comes first. After that, a subscription is required to continue using your account.
💡 Note: During the trial period, you can safely delete your data and import it again at any time. This allows you to test different migration methods and verify your records before committing to a subscription.
Trial Limitations
Up to 50 flight records can be stored in your account during the trial
Records can be added manually, imported, or combined using both methods
Imported flights are not otherwise restricted
You can delete existing flights and add new ones as often as needed throughout the trial period
Recommended Trial Approach
Step 1: Set Up Your Account
Start by configuring your account settings, including your aviation authority, role, licences, and other preferences to match your operational and regulatory requirements.
Step 2: Add a Few Flight Entries
Create several manual flight entries to understand how logging works, explore the available fields, and see how your flight data is structured within the platform.
You can also test ADS-B and ACARS flight import to experience how quickly and conveniently flights can be added automatically with minimal manual input.
Step 3: Import Your Existing Records
Once you are familiar with the basics, it's time to bring your existing flight records into FLYLOG.io.
If you currently maintain a paper logbook, we recommend starting with the Paper Logbook Scanner. Simply upload photos or scans of your logbook pages and FLYLOG.io will automatically convert them into digital flight records. This is often the fastest way to transfer historical flight data and avoid hours of manual entry.
If your records are already stored digitally, FLYLOG.io offers several additional import options:
Importing data from airline and crew management systems
Transferring records from another eLogbook
Uploading bulk flight data using CSV, Excel, or TXT files
💡 Important Note: In most cases, the import engine is designed to read and convert data from CSV, Excel, and TXT files. Always check the required file format for each import source, as it is displayed on the import screen after selecting the source.
If you encounter any issues, our team is here to help. Depending on availability, we may also assist with importing your data on your behalf. Please contact us at support@flylog.io.
Trial Duration
The free trial is available for up to 12 months from the date your account is created. If you do not activate a paid subscription within this period, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
