Set Aviation Authority

Configure your aviation authority to match local regulatory requirements and ensure accurate tracking of applicable limits, recency, and compliance rules.

Essentials

Time Zone: Choose how flight times are displayed:

  • UTC (Coordinated Universal Time): Standard aviation reference

  • Local Time Zone: Based on your location or the flight event

Crew Code: If relevant, add your airline crew code if you import data from crew scheduling systems.

Default Role: Select your default flight role (e.g. PIC, SIC, Instructor).

Duration Format: Choose how flight duration is displayed: Standard: 1:30; Decimal: 1.5

Public Profile

Enable the Online CV feature to create a shareable public overview of your flying experience. Once enabled, a direct profile link will appear in your account and can be shared with recruiters, employers, instructors, or flying clubs.

Your profile will become publicly visible within the pilot directory in the Career section. When this feature is enabled, your public profile can display information about your flight experience, licences, ratings, qualifications, recency, and aircraft types.

⚠️ Important: If you prefer to keep your profile private, please keep this feature disabled. Your profile may still appear in the pilot directory, but all personal details and flight information will remain hidden.

Compliance

Lock past flight records to prevent future changes and maintain compliance with aviation authority requirements.

⚠️ Important: Once enabled, this feature cannot be disabled. For more information, see the related article.

Optional Fields for Logging and Tracking

Duty Time: Enable this optional field if you want to track pilot duty periods, including report and release times, standby, positioning, simulator sessions, or other non-flight duties. Recommended especially for airline pilots, commercial operators, and FTL compliance tracking. For instructions on how to log and use duty time, please refer to the dedicated Duty Time Logging article in the user manual.

Custom Data Fields: Add your own custom fields to track additional operational or personal data, such as fuel consumption, passenger counts, instructor names, operational costs, crew composition, or any other parameters important to your workflow. For setup details, see the Custom Fields section of the user manual.
