How does the trial work?
Every new account includes a free trial — no credit card is required during this period, so you can explore the platform without any upfront commitment.
The trial provides full access to FLYLOG.io across web, iOS, and Android. To keep your data synchronized, please use the same email address and login method on all platforms. If you choose a different login method (for example, an Apple ID linked to a different email address), a separate account will be created automatically, which may lead to duplicate accounts and confusion later on.
During the trial, you can import an unlimited number of flights from your existing records and manually log up to 20 flights (or combine both methods, with a maximum of 20 manually created flight records). You may also delete your entries and start again at any time during the trial to test different import methods.
This allows you to fully migrate your legacy data, evaluate the logging workflow, and explore the platform’s key features before deciding on a subscription.
The free trial remains available for up to 12 months or until you reach the 20 manually logged flights limit — whichever occurs first. Once the limit is reached, or the trial period expires, an active subscription is required to continue logging flights and maintaining full access to your account.
If no paid subscription is activated within 12 months, the account and all associated data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
⚠️ Important: Please remember the email address or sign-in method you use when creating your account. If you register with Apple ID using “Hide My Email,” make sure you retain access to that email address, as it is required to log in and manage your account later.
How can I subscribe?
You can subscribe directly on our website for the best pricing, or via the Apple App Store or Google Play if you prefer in-app billing. One active subscription works across all platforms, as long as you use the same login email or sign-in method.
⚠️ Important: If you sign in with a different Apple ID (or use Apple ID again with a different email option), a new FLYLOG.io account will be created. To keep your data and subscription linked, always log in using the same Apple ID and email.
What payment methods do you accept?
All available payment methods are shown in our payment portal when selecting a direct subscription. All payments are processed securely through our trusted provider Stripe.
For in-app subscriptions, payments are fully handled by Apple or Google.
How are taxes / VAT handled?
Applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) are calculated and added at checkout based on your location and the billing details you provide.
To have your VAT number and company details displayed on the invoice, they must be entered during the payment process in the payment portal. Any changes made after the transaction will apply only to future billing periods and will not affect previously issued invoices.
Do subscriptions auto-renew?
Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled in advance. To prevent renewal, please cancel your subscription before the next billing date.
If you are subscribed to an annual plan, we will notify you in advance before the automatic renewal takes place. Please ensure that your FLYLOG.io account is linked to an email address you actively use and have access to, so you can receive renewal notifications.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrades are possible only within the same billing type (e.g. multi-month to multi-month or multi-year to multi-year). When upgrading, the price difference is charged proportionally based on the remaining time in your current billing cycle.
Downgrades take effect after the end of your current billing period.

Can I switch between in-app and direct subscriptions?
No. Subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store or Google Play cannot be converted to a direct (web) subscription, and vice versa.
If you wish to change the subscription type, you need to cancel your current subscription first and then activate a new one using your preferred payment method. To avoid duplicate charges, we recommend starting the new subscription only after your current billing period has ended.
How can I download my invoice?
For direct (web) subscriptions, you can view your transactions and download invoices directly in your account under Account → Invoices.
For in-app subscriptions, invoices must be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, as billing and payment processing are handled by the respective app store.
Do you offer discounts?
We don’t offer individual discounts. Our pricing reflects the value of FLYLOG.io and stays fair to all customers. You can save in two ways:
Annual subscription – save 11% compared to monthly billing
Referral program – you and your friend each receive a €20 / $20 credit (direct subscriptions only)
Do you offer a referral program?
Yes. For every friend who subscribes using your referral code, both you and your friend receive a €20 / $20 credit, based on your billing currency.
Your credit is applied to future subscription payments, and your friend’s credit is applied to their first subscription payment.
⚠️ Important: The referral program is available only for direct subscriptions purchased on the FLYLOG.io website.
Why is no free version available?
We don’t offer a free version with hidden costs or limits. Instead, we provide a full-featured trial so you can explore FLYLOG.io before subscribing. Our transparent pricing ensures long-term quality and sustainability.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Direct subscription: Cancel in your user profile
In-app subscription: Cancel via the Apple App Store or Google Play
After cancellation, access remains available until the end of the billing period.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails, we’ll notify you by email and give you time to update your payment details. Your subscription will be stopped and your account access will be fully restricted. Your flight data and logbook remain securely stored according to our Terms & Conditions.
Can I get a refund?
We don’t provide refunds or credits for partial or unused subscription periods. That’s why every account begins with a free trial, so you can explore FLYLOG.io before subscribing. Once a subscription is active, you keep access until the end of your billing cycle. In rare cases, we may grant a goodwill refund as an exception, always in line with our Terms & Conditions.
Is data import included in the FLYLOG.io subscription plan?
No, data import is not automatically included in your subscription.
Users are responsible for preparing and uploading their logbook data using the supported import formats available in the system. In accordance with the Terms of Use, FLYLOG.io is not obliged to import files or data on behalf of users. If you encounter any issues, we will provide guidance. In case of available capacity, we may also assist with importing data on your behalf.
For complex or legacy data, we may offer a dedicated import service as an optional paid add-on. This service is not guaranteed and is subject to an additional fee of 100 EUR/USD.
What happens to my data after cancellation?
When you cancel your subscription, your account is fully restricted. Your logbook data is securely stored for twelve (12) months, but it cannot be viewed or used unless you reactivate your subscription. After this period, accounts without renewal are permanently deleted in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
What happens if I never subscribe after the free trial?
If you don’t activate a paid subscription within 12 months, your free trial will expire. Your account and all associated data will then be scheduled for deletion in accordance with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
