Save time and simplify your flight logging by importing flights directly from supported ADS-B networks. Enter the aircraft registration or flight number, search for the flight, and import the recorded flight data in seconds.
FLYLOG.io retrieves details such as the route, departure and arrival airports, aircraft and flight time, so you can create accurate logbook entries with minimal manual input. Once imported, you can also replay the ADS-B flight track directly in the flight record for flight review, training analysis and documentation.
⚠️ Note: ADS-B import depends on data received by third-party networks. In some cases a flight cannot be found or downloaded, for example when the aircraft has no ADS-B transponder, flies below receiver coverage (typical for small airfields and low-level flights), or the network has not published the data. In that case, enter the flight manually.
Where to Find It
Mobile app
On the main screen, tap the + button in the bottom right corner and select Import from ADS-B.
Web app
Click the + Add button and select Import from ADS-B.
Searching and Importing Flights
Enter the date and the aircraft registration or flight number. The form is prefilled with data from your most recent flight; change it if needed.
Select Search to display the available flights.
Select the flight.
Review or adjust the imported values.
Select Save to add the flight to your logbook.
Displaying the ADS-B Flight Track
To display the ADS-B flight track, select Replay Flight Track in the flight details. The GPS data is imported into your logbook and saved with the flight record.
To remove it later, open the flight in edit mode, scroll to the Files section and delete the file track.csv.
