Your organization's data is stored in the cloud and backed up continuously by FLYLOG.io. You do not need to run backups yourself, and there is nothing to install or maintain. All data is handled under European data protection law (GDPR) and stored in the EU.

What Is Backed Up

Everything in your Business account: aircraft profiles, flights, reservations, maintenance records, licences and documents, people, fees, invoices, balances, duties, syllabi and Info & Docs content. Data is synchronised across the web app and the mobile apps, so every device shows the same records.

Your Own Copies

Even with automatic backups, we recommend keeping your own copies of important records, for example for your CAMO, accountant or authority:

• Aircraft logs: journey and technical logs from Admin → Export or from the aircraft's Export tab, as PDF or CSV (see Aircraft Logbook Exports).

• Flights and finance: flight lists with fees and labels from Admin → Export.

• Documents: files uploaded to aircraft, people or Info & Docs can be downloaded at any time.

💡 Tip: Export the aircraft logs at the end of each month; it takes a minute and gives you an offline archive.

Data Retention

Your data stays available as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, the data is kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted (see Subscription). Export what you need before that.
