Admin Role
The Admin role is the highest permission level in a Business account. Admins set up and run the organization: company or club details, aircraft, people, fees, reservations, flights and invoicing. When you create a Business account, you are automatically the first Admin. You can invite more Admins later, and we recommend having at least two so the account never depends on one person.
What Admins Can Do
Account settings: company or club details, billing information, time zone, currency and privacy settings.
Aircraft: add, edit and archive aircraft, set counters and opening totals, plan and record maintenance.
People: add contacts, invite users, assign roles, set discounts and credit balances.
Fees: define rental, instructor, landing, fuel and other rates.
Reservations and flights: see all bookings, confirm or cancel requests, change flight status, sign records.
Finance: generate fees, create invoices, track balances.
Duties and syllabus: plan crew duties, manage training syllabi.
Info & Docs: publish announcements and documents for everyone.
Reports and exports: dashboards, analytics and authority-ready logbook exports.
💡 Tip: Use the web app for administration. Some settings, such as fees and invoicing, are not available in the mobile app.
What Admins Cannot Do
Admins cannot open or edit a person's personal FLYLOG.io pilot logbook or their pilot subscription. Each pilot's logbook is private and belongs to their own FLYLOG.io account. Admins see only the flights recorded within the organization.
Other Roles
Instructors can confirm reservations, see the full schedule and record training progress, but cannot change settings, fees or people. Members, students and renters see only their own area. The full list of roles and what each can do is in the User Management article.
