Every aircraft profile has tabs for keeping the aircraft airworthy: Maintenance, Licences, Safety and Counters. Everything you enter here is linked to the flights recorded in FLYLOG.io, so remaining hours and days update automatically after every flight, and the aircraft's history is complete and traceable.

💡 Admins manage maintenance. Pilots can see planned maintenance and report issues. Use the web app for the full set of features.

Maintenance

Open the aircraft in Admin → Fleet and go to the Maintenance tab.

Planned maintenance: create an item for every recurring inspection or task, for example a 50-hour check, 100-hour inspection or annual. Each item is linked to a counter (TACH, HOBBS, engine cycles) or to a date, and FLYLOG.io shows the remaining hours or days on the aircraft Overview and in the schedule. Mark an item as Does not restrict operation for tasks that should be tracked but do not ground the aircraft when due.

Maintenance history: when a task is done, record it with the date, counter values, who performed it and a signature, and attach the work order, release or invoice. The next due date or hours are calculated from the entry.

Licences

The Licences tab keeps the aircraft documents that expire: airworthiness certificate, insurance, radio station licence, transponder check and any other you add. Enter the validity date and upload the document; the remaining days appear on the aircraft Overview next to planned maintenance.

Safety

The Safety tab is the aircraft's issue log. Pilots report defects, damage or irregularities directly from the app after a flight, with a description, severity and photos if needed. Admins and the maintenance team see the report immediately, and it stays with the aircraft until it is resolved.

Counters

The Counters tab shows the history of TACH, HOBBS, engine cycles and any custom counters entered by pilots after each flight. Use it to check that values were entered correctly and to correct an entry if needed. Counters are set up in the aircraft Settings (see Adding Aircraft).

Logs and Exports

Journey logs, technical logs and maintenance history can be exported for your CAMO, maintenance organisation or authority. See Aircraft Logbook Exports.
