Flight Recording

To record your flight, tap the record button in the Maps section. We'll capture your route, speed, altitude, time, airports, and landings, saving all data directly to your account. Your data is automatically stored locally and will sync when you're back online.

How to ensure successful flight recording?

• Your phone must be turned on, and the FLYLOG app should be running in the foreground (displayed on screen).

• Start recording by tapping the green start button.

• Position your phone with a clear view of the sky for the entire flight to ensure a stable GPS signal.

⚠️ If you wish FLYLOG to record flights even when the app isn't in the foreground, enable the "Always allow" setting for FLYLOG's location sharing in your phone's settings. See the picture below.
