Below are the most commonly asked questions related to BASIC and PREMIUM plans.
How does the trial work?
FLYLOG is free to download and use for logging up to 20 flights. After logging 20 flights, a paid subscription is required to continue logging. However, you can import an unlimited number of flights while you have fewer than 20 flights logged. This allows you to easily transfer your existing flight logs into FLYLOG and explore its features.
How does the subscription work? Is a double activation required for full access?
Your subscription gives you full access to all FLYLOG apps (mobile, web, or desktop), whether you purchase it directly or through the Apple App Store/Google Play. Just log in with the same credentials.
What payment methods do you offer?
We accept payment by credit or debit card. You can choose to pay in EUR or USD.
How can I review my billing information?
To review your billing information, go to Account > User > Personal.
Where can I download my invoice?
Invoices will not be automatically sent to your email address. To check your transactions or download your invoices, go to Account > Transactions. If you have an in-app subscription, you need to download your invoice from your Apple Store/Google Play account.
Why are the prices in the Apple App Store and Google Play higher?
Both Apple and Google charge developers a 30% fee for each payment. For this reason, we are forced to increase the in-app subscription accordingly.
Can I change my subscription plan?
You can upgrade your membership at any time. Your new membership will be activated immediately.
For annual subscriptions, the remaining value of your current plan will be calculated and deducted from the price of your new subscription.
For monthly subscriptions, the full price of your new plan will be charged immediately, and payments are non-refundable.
To downgrade to the Basic plan, you'll need to cancel your current Premium plan and then re-subscribe to the Basic plan after your Premium plan expires.
What if I want to switch from an In-App subscription to a Direct subscription plan?
It is possible at any time. However, please remember to cancel your in-app subscription beforehand to avoid double payment, as we cannot do this on your behalf.
Do you offer a discount?
While we don’t offer discounts, we do have some options to help you save on subscriptions:
Annual subscription: Save 11% on both plans compared to paying monthly.
Referral program: Receive 2 free months for every new user you refer. This offer applies to users with a direct subscription only.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime. Direct subscriptions can be canceled in your user account. To cancel an in-app subscription, navigate to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store -> Subscriptions. If you’re a paying customer, we’ll keep your data for one year after cancellation, allowing you to return and pick up where you left off.
What happens to my data after cancellation?
If you're a paying customer, we'll keep your data for one year, exactly as you left it. This means if you decide to return within 12 months, your account will be just as you remember it. Nevertheless, during this period, you will be unable to upload or log any flights, or download any data from your account. We always recommend regular data backups for added security.
Do you offer a referral program?
We offer a referral program where you'll receive two free months for every friend who signs up using your code. Your friend will also enjoy two free months. This offer is valid when both you and your referred friend are on a direct subscription plan.
Why is no free version available?
Free apps often come with hidden costs, like compromising your privacy or relying on unsustainable business models that sacrifice quality. FLYLOG is committed to providing a valuable service for pilots, with transparent pricing that reflects the cost of development and ensures long-term sustainability. A BASIC membership is a small investment compared to the benefits it offers – consider it the cost of just one minute of flight time in a Cessna 172.
