Remote Signatures, Improved Error Detection & Finnair Import

We've released another set of improvements to make managing your pilot logbook even easier. Here's what's new.

Remote Instructor Signatures

Flight instructors or fellow captains can now sign endorsements remotely using a secure digital signature. Simply send a signature request directly from FLYLOG.io, and they can review and sign it online.

The recipient doesn't need a FLYLOG.io account or the mobile app to complete the signature.

Improved Audit engine – Now Included in BASIC

Our Error Detection feature is now available in the BASIC subscription, making one of our most valuable validation tools accessible to more pilots.

We've also improved the detection engine. The updated algorithm can identify more inconsistencies and potential issues than before, so you may notice new warnings that were not detected by the previous version.

If you see new warnings in your account, there's no need to worry. They simply reflect the improved detection capabilities. If you find any warning irrelevant for your operation, you can easily suppress it. To manage multiple warnings at once, use the Batch Operations.

New Airline Import: Finnair

We're continuing to expand our library of supported airline and crew scheduling systems.

Pilots flying for Finnair can now import their flight records directly into FLYLOG.io, making it even easier to keep their logbook up to date while eliminating manual data entry.
