EASA Custom Fields, New Airline Imports & Flight School Updates
Summer is over, and we have been working hard behind the scenes. This period was focused on improving speed, eliminating errors, and making everyday use more reliable. On top of that, we have added a few new features across FLYLOG.io for Pilots and the Flight School platform.
Updates for FLYLOG.io for Pilots
EASA FCL.050 logbook with custom fields
This is the standard EASA FCL.050 logbook, including operational values beyond the standard EASA format that matter for your flight operations (for example, NVG). You keep the EASA layout required for licence applications, checks and audits, while still printing extra data already tracked in the app.
You’ll find it in Export & Print alongside EASA FCL.050; EASA FCL.050 with PICUS column and other formats.
New airline and crew-system imports
We’re continuing to expand our library of supported airline and crew scheduling systems. You can now upload flight records from:
Jazz Aviation LP
Air Canada
Evoke Systems-EFOS
Export the file from your crew system and import it in FLYLOG.io to keep your logbook up to date with less manual entry.
Improved Netline import
We’ve improved the Netline import to make transferring flight records smoother.
Airline and crew-system file imports are available under Import → Import for Airline Pilots.
Updates for the Flight School platform
Fees for any crew member
We’ve improved the fee section so you can configure fees for any crew member, not only instructors. This gives you more flexibility to set up pricing that matches how your school actually operates.
Customisable Student Training Syllabus
The Student Training Syllabus can now be tailored to individual schools. Default syllabi for PPL(A) and PPL(H) remain available; however, these may not fully correspond to a school’s needs. Users can therefore create a custom training course that reflects their programme and local requirements.
