Booking Aircraft

Booking an aircraft takes a minute: check when it is free in the Schedule, create a reservation, and wait for the confirmation. Everything else, from the aircraft being blocked for you to the email in your inbox, happens automatically.

Checking Availability

Open Schedule. It shows all reservations day by day, with time, duration and aircraft. Tap an aircraft at the top to see only that one, and use the arrows to move between weeks. Depending on your organization's privacy setting, you see either the details of each reservation or only that the aircraft is busy.

Creating a Reservation

Mobile app: tap + on the Personal screen or in the Schedule.
Web app: click a free slot in the Schedule, or use Add flight in Personal → Flights.

Fill in:

  • Aircraft and date and time (start and end).

  • Instructor, if you need one for training or a checkout. You can only choose an instructor who is available at that time.

  • Type of flight (rental, training and so on) and remarks, for example your destination or what you want to practise.

Save. Your reservation now has the status Reservation and is waiting for approval.

Confirmation

An Admin or instructor confirms or cancels your request. You receive an email either way, and the confirmed reservation is added to your calendar. Reservations made by Admins and instructors for themselves are confirmed automatically.

Until it is confirmed, a reservation does not block the aircraft for anyone else, so book early if you need a specific slot.

Reservation Statuses

  • Reservation: your request, waiting for confirmation. It does not block the aircraft yet.

  • Confirmed: approved by an Admin or instructor; the aircraft is yours for that time.

  • Landed: the flight took place and you have entered the post-flight details.

  • Cancelled: cancelled by you or by the organization.

You see the status on each flight in your Personal screen and in the Schedule.

Changing or Cancelling

Open the reservation in the Schedule or in your Personal screen to change the time, aircraft or remarks, or to cancel it. The organization is notified automatically. Please cancel as early as you can so others can use the aircraft.

After the Flight

Enter the post-flight details as soon as you have landed; the flight is not complete and your fees are not calculated until you do.

  1. Open the flight in your Personal screen and tap Landed.

  2. Enter the block and flight times, the landings, the counters your organization uses for that aircraft, fuel if required, and remarks.

  3. If something is wrong with the aircraft, add an issue report; the maintenance team sees it immediately.

  4. Save.

Your organization then calculates the fees; the cost appears on the flight and is deducted from your balance.

💡 Tip: Enter the post-flight details before you leave the airfield, while the counter values are in front of you.
