Flight Sharing, New Imports & FOCA Support
Autumn is here, and we have a new set of updates for pilots. This release brings a new way to share your flights, two new airline imports and support for another aviation authority.
Flight Sharing
You can now share your flights with friends, family and other pilots. FLYLOG.io creates a short video of your flight track replay, which you can send by message, email or post on social media.
Open a flight -> tap Replay flight track -> then tap the share button.
Flight Sharing is available in the Premium plan.
Swiss FOCA support
The Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA), the Swiss civil aviation authority, is now supported in FLYLOG.io. You can track flight time limits and recency by FOCA rules, and export your logbook in FOCA format, ready for licence applications, checks and audits.
If you fly under FOCA, make sure you select FOCA as your authority when setting up your account, so your logbook is set up correctly from the start.
The FOCA logbook export is available in Export & Print alongside other authority formats.
New airline imports
We're continuing to expand our library of supported airlines. You can now upload flight records from:
LuxWing Malta
Silk Way West Airlines
Export the file from your crew system and import it in FLYLOG.io to keep your logbook up to date with less manual entry.
Airline file imports are available under Import → Import for Airline Pilots.
