Duties

The Duty Calendar is where you plan and record the working time of your crew: instructors, pilots and other staff. It gives you one view of who is on duty, when and for what, across the whole organization. Typical uses are planning instructor days, recording flight duty periods, blocking days when someone is unavailable, and scheduling ground training or standby.

💡 Only Admins can plan and edit duties. Duty time recording can be switched on or off in Admin → Settings.

Opening the Duty Calendar

Go to Admin → Duties (web app). The calendar shows one row per crew member. Use the chips at the top to show everyone or one person, and all duty types or only one. Switch between List, Timeline, Schedule, Month, Week and Day views, and use Today and the arrows to move in time.

Planning a Duty

  1. Click Plan Duty in the bottom right corner, or click a time slot in the calendar.

  2. Set the start and stop time and the place. Duty time is calculated automatically.

  3. Add one or more crew members.

  4. Choose the duty type: Flight Duty Period, Standby, Reserve, Ground Training, Unavailable and others.

  5. Optionally add an aircraft, a label, remarks or files, then save.

The duty appears in the calendar for every crew member you added. To edit or delete a duty, click it.
