Improved Data Import and FAA 8710-1 Report

Oct 26, 2025

With the latest update, we’ve introduced several improvements to make it easier for pilots to transfer their data into FLYLOG.io and to extend export capabilities for FAA documentation.

New Airline Imports

FLYLOG.io now supports importing flight records for pilots flying with:

  • Jet2.com

  • Saudia

  • British Airways

  • Transavia

New eLogbook Migration Option

Pilots using myWebLog can now easily import their flight data into FLYLOG.io, ensuring a smooth and reliable transition.

New Export Format: FAA Form 8710-1

We’ve added support for FAA Form 8710-1, helping pilots generate the documentation required when applying for pilot or instructor certificates and ratings.

Improved CSV Import

When importing data as a CSV file, pilots can now use column mapping to match and import their previous flight experience more flexibly.

How it works: If your file doesn’t match the expected format, a column mapping table will appear — simply use it to assign your source columns to the correct fields. This ensures your data imports accurately, even if your headers differ. Before importing, check our guide to make sure all mandatory columns are included for a successful import.

💡Tip: For the most reliable results, we still recommend using our official CSV template as the primary file for importing your data.
