FLYLOG.io for Pilots can be subscribed in two ways: in-app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, or directly through FLYLOG.io on the web. The app works the same either way; the difference is who manages your payment, what you pay and which benefits you get.
Direct Subscription (recommended)
Best price: the direct subscription always offers the lowest possible price, because no app store commission is added.
Referral program: only direct subscribers can take part in our referral program and earn free months.
Managed by us: your subscription, invoices and changes are handled directly by FLYLOG.io. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see your card details.
To subscribe directly, open the web app in a browser on your laptop or desktop: https://app.flylog.io/login and go to your subscription settings.
In-App Subscription
If you subscribe inside the mobile app, the subscription is made with Apple or Google, not with FLYLOG.io. The store charges you, issues the receipts and is the only place where you can change or cancel it (Settings → Subscriptions on iPhone, Google Play → Subscriptions on Android). We cannot refund, change or cancel an in-app subscription for you. Store prices are usually higher than the direct price.
Switching from In-App to Direct
Open https://app.flylog.io/login in a browser and log in with the same email address you use in the app.
Subscribe directly. Your account, logbook and settings stay exactly as they are.
Cancel the in-app subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings so you are not charged twice. It stays active until the end of the period you already paid.
💡 Tip: The mobile app opens the in-app subscription by default. If you want the direct subscription, always use the web app on your laptop or desktop browser.
